The new industrial park in Rehovot abundant with laboratories is home of “Ador Diagnostics” \u2013 a company that develops and produce proprietary medical diagnostic solutions. As a firm that gained knowledge in the building laboratories, Hagai Nagar Architects was selected to design the laboratories and offices of the company. To create research-supporting environment with suitable lighting, optimal acoustics, excellent organization and a pleasant work environment, the work and research section was separated from the clean, sterile lab section that meets the strict technical requirements that guide Ador’s operations.<\/p>\n

The workrooms of the research and data processing personnel are clad with wood and various textures to distinct them from the technical area of the laboratory and give them a cozy atmosphere where they can feel at home. This section contains the meeting room, management suite and cafeteria. In light of the laboratory design requirements, a larger area was dedicated to the laboratory with a main space containing long laboratory benches. This space branches into small development room with minimalistic colorful touches that makes the meticulously precise laboratory environment. Thus, for instance, there is a smooth PVC floor that fills the need for an interrupted surface to prevent accumulation of bacteria and contaminations.<\/p>\n<\/div>
