The world of food is at the center of this technological start-up hub’s creation, the first of its kind in Israel, focusing on developing food technologies. Technological hubs initiated by the Chief Scientist at the Ministry of Economy and Industry, together with the Strauss Group, invest in groundbreaking projects by promoting technological innovation.

A large open kitchen is located at the center of this hub’s workspace. Its location creates opportunities for vast social gatherings within the workspace and serves as potential grounds for exchanging ideas through innovative and productive work progress. A quiet room beside it invites the participants to have intimate and informal meetings, while private glass-partitioned work rooms along the hallway allow the inside to stay in touch with the outside while still holding onto a sense of privacy and concentration. While designing this office, we incorporated urban, domestic and industrial materials. Warm orange and red colors hint at the colorful brand and logo of the Strauss Group, balanced by the cold-toned elements of the block partitions, cement floor, dark ceiling and blackboard-painted walls. Images of green fields connect the hub with the basic food ingredients, and industry with nature.

A Bit About Us

Our firm was established in 2000 and specializes in planning and designing offices and workspaces for companies and organizations. We provide a service from start to finish, including the planning, designing, and project managing until its conclusion. Architect Hagai Nagar, who founded the firm, has a B.Arch degree from the Tel Aviv University School of Architecture since 1999. He combines engineering-planning skills with an artistic one as both an architect and a designer.

The various projects we have led over the years were inspired by ideas and original designs developed in our firm, while connecting to what is happening in the global world of architecture and design. Our portfolio includes a long line of projects that have both a design as well as a functional view linking them together, while still looking to surprise, excite and innovate. Our professional approach combines creative design with technical excellence in engineering, while deeply familiarizing ourselves with a variety of materials and technologies. We love seeing it all take place, and lead projects to success while delving into various aspects such as ergonomics, lighting, acoustics, branding, etc.
