The Ayalon Highway offices, a government office overseeing substantial and high-budget transportation projects in urban and metropolitan areas, are located on several high floors covering an expansive 2,500 square meters. The office overlooks Route 431, which they had planned, and beyond it – all the way to the sea in the west. The challenge in the office design was mostly plan-wise, since the company has 200 employees divided into various departments. Stations were required for the reception, kitchenettes, conference rooms, closed offices, and a tailored open space.

The closed conference rooms serve as a barrier between the departments, but also connect them with their transparent walls. One of the rooms has a mobile partition, allowing to expand the room and create an area for multi-participant conventions. In addition, the company had planned more complex rooms, such as a server room that gathers all their roads’ information.

We chose sturdy, long-lasting materials, such as concrete walls, for the offices of this public company. The conference rooms and other selected areas have a wooded ceiling, while the public spaces have aluminium multi-panel ceilings. We fitted colorful light fixtures in the ceilings of some of the less official spaces. These light fixtures add grace and beauty. We’ve also incorporated into the office design branded graphics, plants, and outdoor seating that faces the view, creating the perfect place to take a break.

A Bit About Us

Our firm was established in 2000 and specializes in planning and designing offices and workspaces for companies and organizations. We provide a service from start to finish, including the planning, designing, and project managing until its conclusion. Architect Hagai Nagar, who founded the firm, has a B.Arch degree from the Tel Aviv University School of Architecture since 1999. He combines engineering-planning skills with an artistic one as both an architect and a designer.

The various projects we have led over the years were inspired by ideas and original designs developed in our firm, while connecting to what is happening in the global world of architecture and design. Our portfolio includes a long line of projects that have both a design as well as a functional view linking them together, while still looking to surprise, excite and innovate. Our professional approach combines creative design with technical excellence in engineering, while deeply familiarizing ourselves with a variety of materials and technologies. We love seeing it all take place, and lead projects to success while delving into various aspects such as ergonomics, lighting, acoustics, branding, etc.
