Kata Group is a seasoned entrepreneurship and construction firm specializing in urban renewal. When we designed the space, we had various ideas on how to maximize the workstations of this growing company. Our focus was on creating a professional and inviting atmosphere that resonates with both clients and employees.
The chosen sketch featured a central entrance hall that houses key public spaces: variously sized conference rooms, a lobby showcasing the company’s projects, and a lounge area with a terrace providing panoramic views from the top floor, etc. To capture the essence of the firm and its industry, we incorporated raw materials from the construction process—wood, iron, glass, and stone—into the office planning and design concept. Our approach emphasized maximizing workstations in the work and development zones while ensuring ergonomic layouts and superior acoustic performance. Additionally, we strategically positioned the company’s kitchen in this area, transforming it into a social and collaborative space for employees. The kitchen design encourages interaction with meeting points at the bar, around dining tables, and on the adjacent terrace. Vibrant and inviting colors were selected to reflect the firm’s innovative spirit in this dynamic space.

Our firm was established in 2000 and specializes in planning and designing offices and workspaces for companies and organizations. We provide a service from start to finish, including the planning, designing, and project managing until its conclusion. Architect Hagai Nagar, who founded the firm, has a B.Arch degree from the Tel Aviv University School of Architecture since 1999. He combines engineering-planning skills with an artistic one as both an architect and a designer.
The various projects we have led over the years were inspired by ideas and original designs developed in our firm, while connecting to what is happening in the global world of architecture and design. Our portfolio includes a long line of projects that have both a design as well as a functional view linking them together, while still looking to surprise, excite and innovate. Our professional approach combines creative design with technical excellence in engineering, while deeply familiarizing ourselves with a variety of materials and technologies. We love seeing it all take place, and lead projects to success while delving into various aspects such as ergonomics, lighting, acoustics, branding, etc.
